Ras Al Khaimah (the UAEs 4th largest emirate) is just 45 minutes from Dubai Creek and Dubai Airport with Marjan Island 10 minutes closer. Ras Al Khaimah is set to boom over the next 3-5 years with a huge amount of inward investment planned and an open minded government in place who can see investment potential.

The city of Ras al Khaimah already has a huge commercial base and the government are aiming to make it an offshore banking haven similar to that of the Cayman and British Virgin Islands. Having watched the Dubai man made islands being constructed, the RAK government learnt from the mistakes and have constructed Marjan Island in full before beginning to sell off the island for development.

Whereas the Palm Islands in Dubai were constructed from local sand dredged up, Marjan Island has been built using sand from other locations providing a much more solid foundation and without upsetting the local ecosystem and coral reefs.

The island will feature mostly hotels and commercial buildings offering only a select few the opportunity to own a residential unit on the island for occupation.

Harbour Beach Residence is located on the 3rd Island within the coral like formation and is a 5* resort with a hotel, apartments and retail on site. The hotel will occupy the northern wing of the building and will be managed by one of the large 5 hotel chains. We have a letter of intent from a company but cannot divulge fully until signed and sealed in the next few weeks. It is however a large household name.

The hotel will provide 5* facilities to the private apartments in the same building including housekeeping, room service, conference facilities, dry cleaning and a 24 hour concierge.
